How do I assign checkpoints?

In the web app, navigate to the "Database" tab in the top menu bar and then select "Checkpoints" from the left side menu. Above the checkpoints list, click on the green + button to add a new checkpoint.

What devices are compatible?

For Android, Workforce Dispatch requires a device running Android 6.0 or later, and a device with NFC hardware included.

For iOS, an iPhone 7 or newer, running iOS 11 or newer is required.

Please check your device provider for more details on your exact model and specifications.

How do I scan checkpoints with the app?

For NFC tags, when logged into the mobile application for iOs or Android, tap on the "Scan" option from the app home screen and hold your device over the checkpoint to record the event.

For Bluetooth beacons, as long as you're logged in and bluetooth is enabled, the beacon signal will be detected by your device and an event automatically recorded and uploaded.

Please note, the location of the scanner in your device will depend on each make and model.

How do I generate a report?

In the web app, navigate to "Reports" tab in the top menu bar. In the analytics screen you will be able to choose your template and filters in the left menu. Once your filters are set, click the green "Generate" button at the bottom of the left menu and your report will load on the right side of the screen.

How can I export a report to PDF or CSV?

After you have generated a report, you will have the option to save the report as PDF or CSV file formats. To do this, simply click on the PDF or CSV icon in the top right of the report window.

Please note, PDF generation may take a while for large amounts of data. In this case, we'll ask for an email address and your file will be generated on our servers and then emailed to the nominated email address once completed. Closing your browser or turning off your computer won't affect this process once the request has been confirmed in the report window.

Can I edit the data on a report?

Long story short, no. Workforce Dispatch take data security very seriously and do not allow for users to edit or manipulate data in any way.

If you want to customise your report data further by adding charts, functions and so on, you can download a report as a CSV file and adjust as needed. This will not affect the data stored in your account and re-generating the report will show the original data.

How can I add a new user?

A new user can be added to the web app by navigating to the "Database" tab in the top menu bar and selecting "Users" from the left menu. Above the users list, click on the green + button to add a new user to your account.

A user profile will include separate access to the web app and mobile applications allowing you to add web only or app only users if required.
